This is the first painting in my Red list project. This is how the eggs of the Australian Gippsland giant earthworm look, well almost, they are oval and not drop shaped. They lay incubated in the earth for 12 months before hatching and won't reach adulthood until after 4,5 years. They can grow up to 1 meter and strecth up to 2 meters. Threaths include agriculture.
